Tall Ships Races Bordeaux 2027
From July 7 to 11, the sailing ships participating in the Tall Ship Races will dock along the quays of Bordeaux before the start of this international race. This major event will coincide with Bordeaux Fête le Vin, highlighting the historic connection between the sea and Bordeaux wines.
Sailing for education
The Tall Ships Races, the most famous international Tall Ship School Races, are organized by the charity Sail Training International. For the past 70 years, the latter's vocation has been to introduce young people aged 15 to 25, from all social backgrounds, to sailing at sea aboard majestic yachts.
The credo of Sail Training International, is to offer experiential learning which, beyond the acquisition of sailing techniques, will enable apprentices to work cooperatively, rediscover themselves, gain self-confidence, strengthen their resilience but above all, experience an extraordinary human adventure.
