A Festival on the Quays: Wine and Sailing Ships
Bordeaux Wine Festival returns to the quays from July 7 to 11, 2027, coinciding with the Tall Ships Races – Bordeaux 2027.
A wonderful opportunity to (re)discover the wines of Bordeaux and Nouvelle-Aquitaine in a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere. People come to taste wines, chat with winemakers, take an introductory workshop, or simply enjoy themselves with friends. On the food side: oysters, cannelés, duck, and other local specialties. Between sips, the sailing ships become part of the scenery. An event where everyone moves at their own pace, amid curiosity, new encounters, and shared enjoyment.
Explore the wines of Bordeaux and the region
The Bordeaux Wine Festival is the perfect opportunity to find out more about the wines of Bordeaux and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, as you stroll through the Appellation Pavilions and, of course, the Bordeaux Wine School.
The Tall Ships of the Tall Ships Races - Bordeaux 2027
Thirty-seven years after the Cutty Sark’s stopover in 1990, the race will once again set sail from Bordeaux this year. This rare event explains the exceptional rescheduling of Bordeaux Fête le Vin to July 7–11, 2027.
For several days, iconic sailing ships will moor along the quays and open their decks to the public.
On July 11, they will set sail for La Coruña (Spain) and then Sines (Portugal). Dozens of iconic sailing ships will provide a spectacular departure to watch from the shore. Beyond the spectacle, the event celebrates the passing of knowledge: these training ships also welcome young people aged 15 to 25 to discover new horizons and take part in an extraordinary adventure!
