Tasting concert at the Black Prince Castle (Lormont)

The Bordeaux Wine Festival avant-premières events

From June 12, as if to invite the Bordeaux region to remember the diversity of Bordeaux wines, before gathering on the banks of the river, the festivities begin to sparkle throughout the metropolis. On the program: numerous wine-tasting concerts in unusual venues!

See you in Lormont!

Overlooking the Garonne River and the entrance to Bordeaux, this unique château has been destroyed and rebuilt several times since the late 11th century. It was the scene of negotiations at the end of the Hundred Years' War and owes its evocative name to Edward de Woodstock, Prince of Wales and Aquitaine, nicknamed the “Black Prince”, who stayed here in the 14th century. It later became the country residence of the Archbishops of Bordeaux. Completely renovated since 2007, the château welcomes you for a jazzy, gourmet evening!
