Rosé - Clairet - Bordeaux sparkling wine
From June 27 to 30, 2024, Bordeaux Fête le Vin will host for the first time a pavilion entirely dedicated to Clairet, Rosé and Crémant de Bordeaux (sparkling wine), offering visitors a unique opportunity to discover and taste these often underrated wines full of character and finesse.
A range of colors and flavors
Clairet de Bordeaux, with its distinct color somewhere between light red and deep rosé, is a regional specialty dating back to the Middle Ages. Less well known than its paler cousins, Clairet offers a structure closer to that of a red, with a freshness that makes it ideal for summer meals.
Bordeaux Rosés, on the other hand, are appreciated for their freshness and lightness. With aromas of red fruit, citrus and sometimes flowers, they are perfect for aperitifs, salads or grilled meats.
Crémants de Bordeaux, made using the traditional method, are sparkling wines that rival those of other great sparkling wine regions. They are characterized by their finesse and elegance, offering a refreshing and festive alternative to still wines.
