Organic wines and the Bordeaux-Aquitaine National Orchestra
As in 2016, Bordeaux Fête le Vin will also take place at the Darwin centre on the right bank.
A big organic wine tasting will be organized in a joint initiative between the CIVB, the Aquitaine Union of Organic Winegrowers and the Darwin centre.
Organic winegrowers who wish to present their wines to the public will be offering a wide range of reds, rosés, clairets, dry whites, sweet whites, and Crémants. Most of these will be from Bordeaux appellations, but also from neighbouring regions.
The Bordeaux-Aquitaine National Opera will be providing music to accompany the event. The head of the orchestra, Paul Daniel has chosen to pay tribute to Liverpool with some classics from the Beatles. For this unusual concert where the musicians will combine jeans and trainers with tails, Paul Daniel also plans to inspire people to dance with some tangos and music from films.
Friday 15 June, evening (time to be confirmed).
Halles Darwin, 87 Quai des Queyries, on the Right Bank.
Prices: € 10, free for children under 15 years-old. Includes the concert and 3 tastings.
