Museum of Aquitaine Jack London in the South Seas
After being shown in Marseille, the Jack London in the South Seas exhibition, presenting the writer’s adventures, will be coming to Bordeaux’s Aquitaine Museum.
The famous writer Jack London, who was also a photo-reporter and journalist, had a crazy dream: to sail around the world.
So it was that in 1907, Jack London and his wife embarked on the "Snark", for a voyage through the South Pacific islands.
Relive this remarkable journey through a selection of oceanic works of art on loan from the collections of major museums, and photographs and objects from the writer’s personal collection.
29 May to 2 December 2018. Musée d’Aquitaine de Bordeaux.
